Wait – what have I gotten myself into?

So it turns out that in 24 hours, I will be coming up on two hours into my marathon. Which means that tomorrow I am running a marathon.

I am a bit scared. Because 26.2 miles is a long ways – did you know that?

I mean, what was I thinking?

***

I think I’ll be fine, right? I trained. I did a nice 3.3 mile run yesterday in Milwaukee – and it was good. We went on a brewery tour (I am having a good time, and have the best hosts ever) and then hung out & had pizza.

I slept really well for the first time in weeks on Thursday night, although last night I was not as fortunate. I am hoping to get some sleep tonight – we’ll see how that goes.

Today, all I am doing (I think) is hitting the expo. And relaxing. And trying not to panic.

Good luck to all those other marathoners this weekend! Kristen & Emily in Portland, Aron & Tara at Cowtown, POM here in Milwaukee with me. And anyone else I can’t remember.

I hope I don’t die.
