Three (3!) Things Thursday
1. I am going to attempt to make pseudo-Thai food tonight. Specifically green curry with eggplant and beef. I am so excited. (I call it pseudo, because I am using store-bought curry paste and neglected to buy fish sauce, so we’ll see what happens.)
2. I have plumbers visiting today to get estimates on the bathroom remodel. They have both been late, which in itself is not surprising. What is surprising is that they both called to let me know that they’d be late.
3. And speaking of bathrooms – the remodel is underway! We have taken out the old gigantic vanity (seriously – it took up about half of the bathroom), removed the linoleum, taken out a lot of the drywall, reframed the back wall, and basically made it completely unusable. Which is, of course, awesome.
After we get our plumbing quotes, we will move forward. We need to buy the floor tiles, the shower tiles, the wainscoting, and the paint. I’m hoping that everything goes relatively smoothly (or as much as it can when we’re doing the majority of the work).
