Shoe Porn!

Okay – for the last few shoe porns, we’ve been heavily focused on boots. BUT – that’s not all that the fall/winter shoe season has to offer.

Boots are awesome, and honestly, I wish I had a dozen pairs, so I could wear a pair of boots every day (but not the SAME pair, obviously). However, I also enjoy other types of shoes.

Today’s focus is pumps that I can’t wear. But maybe you can, so yay!

Fall themes do not seem to change much from year to year (I ignore the trends I hate, makes it easier). (I also tend to ignore open-toed shoes this time of year because I live in Portland, and I like my feet to stay dry.)

We have a lot of metallics, animal prints, and, surprisingly, a lot of neutral colors sprinkled in.  Platforms seem to be big, as well as lace overlays (which are pretty, but not everyday shoes, of course). A big color trend this year seems to be purple, which makes me insanely happy. I have been craving a pair of purple shoes…probably won’t purchase any right now, because that would be impractical, but I will be drooling!

Here are a LOT of awesome shoes that I cannot wear.

Vince Camuto Momas

Purple! I also encourage you to follow the link & check out the heel detailing. I like!

Joan & David 'Flipp' Pump

I really like these. Simple. Shiny. Red. So classic & pretty.

Cynthia Vincent Nia

These are so cute – I love the lace-up detailing!

Nine West Ample

Again – purple! I love the platform, and the solid heel, too. (These also come in emerald green suede – I feel that I need to collect the whole set!)

Betsey Johnson 'Itsy' Pump

I love the lace detailing and the leopard print INSIDE the shoe. So pretty & feminine looking!

Badgley Mischka Humbee II

SPARKLES!!!  And open toes – fun holiday party shoes, though, right?

This pair of shoes seems to be inappropriately named….

Okay – it’s not ALL about you. I am planning on buying my feet a present for making it through surgery & recovery. However, due to the swelling in my foot, and my inability to wear high heels, I have decided to (temporarily) cross to the dark side and consider clogs. (That’s right, Carrie…you may now have your revenge!) Easy to slide my foot into. Not uncomfortable (from what I’ve heard).

Here are the two pairs I’m looking at:

Clarks® Unstructured 'Un.anise' Mule

These are red, which I like. They are not fancy, but I think I could wear to work. And they are probably comfortable and roomy enough for my swollen foot.

Clarks Artisan Collection 'Inca Amy' Mule

I almost have to get these, right? They have my name in them!
