Training Goals: 8/3 – 8/9
July 27 – August 2, 2009
Monday: strength training – FAIL! Too hot to move. DAMN!
Tuesday: morning track workout (virtually w/ JM) – I did run 4.4 miles, but not a track workout. I switched my Tuesday & Thursday runs.
Wednesday: final pre-triathlon open water swim. This time with her & her & her & him, so probably I won’t die. – SUCCESS!
Thursday: morning easy run. evening yoga. – Did a great morning track workout. I may have mentioned it earlier.Yoga was canceled due to heat.
Friday: rest day. stretching & icing. – Success here, too. I’m good at rest days! (I also did stretch & ice.)
Saturday: triathlon. *gulp* – More success than I could’ve imagined.
Sunday: 8-10 mile long, slow run. – FAIL! Took another day off due to hangover + I did a triathlon yesterday, so I decided to skip it. It was a step-back week, so I feel okay with that decision.

This week’s schedule subject to change after a meeting with Alisa. 🙂
Monday: Strength training post-work. Hopefully it won’t be too hot. Maybe I should hit the gym?
Tuesday: morning track workout. This time I will not do a mile time trial, and instead will try to get through the paces consistently.
Wednesday: bike to work, I think. Maybe a swim?
Thursday: easy morning run, PM yoga.
Friday: trail run – it’s been a few weeks, I’m really looking forward to it.
Saturday: bike ride with the architect, bikram with JM I think.
Sunday: long run – 16 miles.
I don’t have a day off scheduled this week, which is something I am trying to avoid, but since I took the previous Sunday off, I didn’t want to take my traditional Monday off. I hope that works out!Follow me on social!
