PORN!!!
Shortest porn post EVER! I am so busy at work (and if I’m busy now, am dreading 1/5 – 2/13 – there may be a porn sabbatical during that time – unless I can recruit some guest porn bloggers).
BUT -I have a shoe for you today. You should all give a little bit of thanks to Margaret who emailed me this shoe yesterday (or maybe the day before – they all run together).
Anyhoo – I have mentioned Margaret before, but just in case you haven’t been taking notes on all the people I know that you don’t, I’ll give you a quick update. Back in the old days (read 2004-2005), Margaret & I worked together. And by “worked” I mean “shared an office & sent each other ridiculous IMs about barbecued kitten ribs.” (You may have had to be there. Although that doesn’t always help. The architect STILL doesn’t quite get it.)
So – we worked together. And then we went out for drinks a few times. And we played Scrabble. And then? It happened. We went shopping together, and I came home with a new pair of heels. I was not a heel person before. I was barely even a shoe person. But oh, they were so pretty, and Margaret had such pretty shoes. And soon, I was mildly obsessed. (She is also the person who drug me to my first yoga class. Truly evil has no other face.) When I left the organization we both worked for, we stayed friends. Before I left for Portland, we had frequent rum & Scrabble nights. Now we play a lot of online scrabble, when she’s not slacking off and NOT TAKING HER TURN. It’s not like she has any excuses – it’s not like she’s currently gallivanting around Pakistan. Oh, wait. Never mind. Take your time. WHATEVER.
So – to get to the porny point (that should bring in the google searchers), she emailed me a picture of a shoe. One of the perks of this blog is that I often once a year or so get pictures of shoes.

People – it doesn’t get any better than that. Except that she actually bought them in England, so it’s possible that she didn’t have to pay ridiculous shipping prices, and since she was in England, the exchange rate may not have scared her as much as it scares me.
So – porn and the much abbreviated story of Margaret. Although not so much the shortest porn post ever. The words, they just keep coming!
