Another one of those “long” weeks
After two 4-day weeks in a row (due to sickness), I’m again struggling through this whole 5-day week concept. I do really well until Thursday at about 3:30, and then it all goes to hell. I’m tired and less motivated/energetic/etc.
However, my extreme fatigue has evened out now that I’m making a concerted effort to have a protein-heavy food item every two hours or so. Even though I got up at 5:15 this morning for my 6 am weights class, I’m still wide awake. I think it’s the hard boiled egg & the peanuts.
I don’t eat much meat – so tell me, what are your non-meat related protein fixes? What do you eat during the day? I’m looking for some new ideas that are a little more proteiny and a little less carby (and not too high in fat, although I’m less worried about that).Follow me on social!
