Training Goals 7/13 – 7/19
7/6 – 7/12 Recap
Monday: post-work swim, upper body strength (+abs & push-ups) – complete fail. I hurt so bad Monday from the half marathon, that I actually had to use elevators at work to go downstairs. I decided another rest day was in order.
Tuesday: easy 3 mile run- success! And a speedy 3 miles it was – 29:22; I felt GREAT!
Wednesday: 90 minute bike ride – fail – too lazy to ride 🙁
Thursday: easy 3 mile run (am); yoga (pm) – I ditched my AM run when I realized my schedule called for Friday & Saturday runs as well, and I can’t run 3 days in a row. I did go to yoga, and my yoga teacher tried to kill us all!
Friday: easy 6 mile trail run; swim – FAIL! stupid sick!
Saturday: 9 mile long run –almost success – 8 miles, and then a 13 mile bike.
Sunday: swim/bike brick – I did a hike/swim/run instead. It was pretty awesome. I also did 30 squats & 50 (5×10) incline push-ups against a fallen log while hanging out in the woods.
July 13 – July 19, 2009
I can’t believe July is almost half over. CRAZY! Also, SCARY!
Monday: Weights + Elliptical. – I’ll be doing my regular at home circuit. I usually add in some cardio at the end to round out to hour of exercise.
Tuesday: Either hill repeats or track. Can’t remember what I have on the master calendar. Am too lazy to go find it.
Wednesday: PM bike ride + short weight circuit.
Thursday: Optional AM 3 mile run + PM yoga
Friday: swim (1200+ yds) + trail run
Saturday: swim/bike brick – potentially an open water swim. I am scared,though, so maybe not!
Sunday: long run – 14 milesFollow me on social!
