WOO!

I went to crazy weights today – to fulfill my half of the exercise pact I made with Ms. Maximum Heartrate yesterday. (did you do your run?) It was pretty good – although my gym buddies are all traveling fools right now, and so it was just me (and about 20 other people).

I feel awesome, and although I think I’ll be sore, I don’t think it will be as bad as last time. I’ve had a pretty good week. I ran Monday & Wednesday (2/2 intervals, which I’ll repeat tomorrow – and then hopefully I’ll be able to do 5/1 intervals or something next week). I didn’t really do anything on Tuesday except for set my alarm for 5 AM and then turn it off in my sleep. This morning I got my weights in AND about 20 minutes on the elliptical. Tomorrow I am going to run. I’m trying to decide if I should do yoga tomorrow or on Saturday. I’m leaning towards Saturday…but I want to make sure that I actually get there. 

Today has been pretty busy at work – I’m looking forward to my 4-day weekend! Tomorrow, besides the run (and possibly the yoga), I am planning on catching up on my book reviews and maybe hitting the library. The architect and I are dating at home tomorrow night so I can watch the debate.  He’s thrilled to be having a romantic evening with me, McCain & Obama. They’d better not stand us up. The architect will be crushed!

  1. Hey, i am doing the same thing as you tomorrow evening except i am watching it alone!! Not that there’s anything wrong with that!!! :O)

  2. i am SO looking forward to the weekend – a little bit of writing, a whole bunch of mags and books to catch up on, and a baby Halloween costume to sew from scratch. Wish me luck!

  4. so, I didn’t go. I suck. Seriously. I got up on time, but I’m a sucker for vampires (ha ha) and had just borrowed and started reading The Breaking Dawn, so I crawled back into bed and read. I’m so lame – but I did do a Tae Bo video when I got home from work that night (flash to the past) and I’m going to work out both days this weekend! Cross my heart.

  5. Awesome! I will be back in action next week back from DC and recovering from the time change this weekend. Was a total slacker and didn’t do a damn bit of exercise, other than all the walking around the city.

    I’m totally the same as you and HTC, if I’m exercising I’m eating crap and if I’m slacking on exercise then I’m eating healthy…what gives??? (and more importantly, how do I change it??)

    Yoga hopefully next week, it’s going to be a busy one since I have a big event on Tuesday and am planning another trip (this one for Dr. Robertson).
