still busy

but – only one more day of the super crazy, and then I can check out.

So far, my May challenge is going well.  You know, 15.5 hours in.  I haven’t had a drink yet – go me!

I also made it to my weights class this morning.  Ran 2.25 miles on treadmill after class.  Ran 43 minutes at lunch – which is probably close to 4 miles.  I’m calling a total of 6 miles today.  Only 94 to go!  Woo!

I think my June challenge might be to not fall down, hit my head, or spill my delicious protein smoothie down my front at work.  Lofty goals, I know.

I cannot wait for this week to be over.  Mostly because when the week is over, there will be martinis & bacon-wrapped dates.  (One of my 5 special occasions.)  Yum.

Also – everyone say “congrats!” to the Cheetah.  She is now a proud home-owner.  I’m hoping that new home ownership will slow her down a bit, but I’m not going to hold my breath.

  1. Yes, sorry I didn’t make it to class. I am indeed, in town this week… however I had my first BIG client presentation yesterday at 9am and woke early wanting to use every spare moment to ensure I was totally prepared. In retrospect, I wouldn’t have felt fully prepared either way, so I really should have just gone to class!

Oooh, I know where you’ll be tonight!! Hope you have the best time!

    • maybe we’ll connect this Thursday. And, since I don’t have to go to work after, we could get coffee if you have the time. Although it’s possible that you might have to work 🙂

I had a fabulous time with my martinis and bacon-wrapped dates.

      I hope you’re having a good week.

  2. Have fun tonight with those bacon wrapped dates. I would like to wrap a date in some bacon and eat him up. ha ha. kidding.

I did the same thing in High School. Stayed home and went to Jr College to be with a loser boyfriend instead of going away. And I had the grades, too. BUT, like you, I would totally be a GOD by now and we just can’t have that. ha ha.

    • you are a dirty girl. I like that.

I guess that there are forces at work to limit our god-like powers. which is too bad, really. I wouldn’t mind being god on a rotating schedule.
