In a three months, I will be riding a century. 100 miles. From Portland to the Beach. Although I have to admit that one of the biggest reasons I’m doing this is because I’ve always wanted to ride 100 miles, I can’t ignore the cause that sponsors such a great ride.
I’m riding (and raising money) for the American Lung Association. I’ve participated in a number of runs that benefit particular organizations, but I only ask for money when I really believe in the cause – this is one of them.
I’ve set a modest fund-raising goal of $200 – but would be delighted to raise much, much more. So – if you have an extra $10 or $25 to spare, please go here and donate. In addition to my undying gratitude, you will be helping fight lung diseases and advocate for clean air (the clean air is my big push).
So – thank you in advance – for reading this. And many more thanks if you click on this link and donate.
