I am not a loser

I ran the 5K. And I finished it. And I wasn’t last. When I crossed the finish line, the clock read 40 minutes exactly, but I didn’t cross the start line until about 5 minutes after the race started, which means I ran the whole 5 K’s in about 35 minutes.

That makes me feel pretty good. The fact that I not only finished the run, but didn’t have to stop moving the entire time, and was still running when I crossed the finish line makes me very happy.

The architect got a picture of me just as I was approaching the finish line, and as soon as I download that, I will post it.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported me financially and otherwise. It made a huge difference.

(Next year, I’m doing it in under 30 minutes.)
