spam, spam, spam, spam, spammity spam!
So – I got a whole bunch of comments overnight, and I was very excited to read them.
Two of them were from real people; the rest were all from various credit unions. I guess that it’s kinda good, because spammers think that I’;m worth spamming, but it was such a letdown for me.
Although, I am still very excited about a comment from a stranger! I read her blog. hee hee. And then! like magic! she read mine and was all nice and stuff. This is not the first time this has happened. I was also commented upon by a Portlander with a mini-van, an expatriate, and a happy (formerly fat) drunk.
All strangers. I realize, that compared to some famous bloggers (Dooce, Amalah, Trent), that I am no one, less than no one, but it is the most fun ever to have strangers say hi.
Although not in real life. In real life I am scared of strangers and try to stay far, far away from them and don’t make eye contact (unless they are a potential serial killer, in which case I just take notes, because that is safer) and try not to stare (well, sometimes when I’m tipsy, I’m a bit more friendly). But internet strangers are COOL!
So, in conclusion. I am slightly cool. Especially in the credit union world, where I am a Rock Star!
