You guys – last week was pretty successful (at least compared to my usual track record lately).
Training Goals: 5/10 – 5/16
Monday: Rest (originally, I’d planned to make up yesterday missed run today – but had forgotten that I already had plans tonight. BOO!) – SUCCESS! I rested & drank beer at Fred Fest like a champ!
Wednesday: Triple Day! Morning spin class + post-spin brick run (I am graduating to the 60 minute spin class), evening Open Water Swim (brrr…..) with the Ambitious One! – SUCCESS! Spin class didn’t kill me. I ran a mile after spinning. There was an OWS. More on that later.
Thursday: Swim + self-defense class w/ Jen – SUCCESS! I swam a quick 1500 after work & then met Jen for our second self-defense class.
Saturday: Bike – my one & only FAIL! I’d intended to do a long ride, but ended up doing construction & gardening instead.
Sunday: Run – 4 miles. – SUCCESS! I ran 4 miles on Leif Erikson in about 42 minutes. YAY! Later, I rode my bike to & from the NE Sunday Parkways (11 miles total).
The only things I didn’t do were (1) weight lifting (but I painted for four hours, so my right arm got a workout) and (2) long ride (I’m not sure that three short rides count).

Wednesday: Triple Day! Morning spin class + post-spin brick run (I am graduating to the 60 minute spin class), evening Open Water Swim (brrr…..) with the Ambitious One! I am hoping for a better experience this week
Thursday: Swim + self-defense class w/ Jen
Friday: Weights + Yoga
Saturday: Run – 5 miles
Sunday: Hagg Lake OWS + Hilly Hagg Lake Bike
