Training Goals: 3/15/10 – 3/21/10

The recap first, of course. This week was a bit of a setback step back week due to the foot of doom.

Goals – 3/8 – 3/14

Monday: rest day – as usual, I rocked my rest day.

Tuesday: Terwilliger run -FAIL! My foot of doom encouraged me to take the day off

Wednesday: swim + run – SUCCESS! Although my run wasn’t as good as I’d planned, I did run 4 miles after work. I also got up super early at swam for 1200 yds before work.

Thursday: AM weights + yoga – half SUCCESS – I didn’t do the weights (my first weightless week in eons), but I did get to yoga!

Friday: AM run (I have to work on Friday! the horror! Only a 2-day weekend!) – SUCCAIL! I didn’t run, due to the foot thing, but I did get back into the pool for another 1200 yds.

Saturday: yoga + bike – FAIL! I did nothing. Except plant two trees, homework, and drink beer w/ my kick-ass neighbor (yeah, that’s how I carb-loaded for the race….)

Sunday: Shamrock run + 15K PR.  – SUCCESS! And if you want to know more about the success, you can scroll down for the full race report. It was only a 10 second PR, but I’ve no complaints! And the good news is that my foot doesn’t feel any worse today than it did Saturday!

Goal: 4 runs, 1 weight,1 swim, 1 bike + 2 yoga = 9
Actual: 2 runs, 2 swims, 1 yoga = 5 (booooo)

Goals – 3/15 – 3/21

Monday: swim

Tuesday: run with the Ambitious One & Running Stories (the Ambitious One is starting her 20 week 70.3 training program today! She is going to rock it, and I am so pleased that I get to be along for some of the ride.)

Wednesday: swim + run

Thursday: TBD, but if the weather holds, bike to work (+ maybe weights or yoga?)

Friday: Long run – 17 miles

Saturday: rest (I’ll be in Seattle)

Sunday: Short run – 3 miles

Goal: 4 runs, 1 weight,2 swim, 1 bike + 1 yoga = 9
