Slow Down!!!
I can’t believe it’s May already. I am moving in three months. Three months from right now, I will be on the last day of my drive to my new home in Portland. Holy crap that’s scary.
I had a decent weekend. Ren Faire on Saturday. It was much fun but we spent waaaaay too much money on the tickets, food & drink. No souvenirs, other than fun photos of men in tights and women with cleavage. 🙂
Sunday was a going away barbecue for a friend. That was fun. There was a shot luge. There was drunkenness. I ate a cheeseburger. Then, later, I was sick, for I do not eat of the meat of the cow. That was my first beef in years, and it was not friendly. So, yesterday I stayed home all day. And did nothing. I watched Buffy. I read Television Without Pity.” Since I don’t actually watch tv anymore, I just read synopses of old shows (Buffy, natch, and “My So-Called Life” which I had forgotten how much I really liked back when it was on.)
Also, on Sunday, I finished el booko. Some people have already received copies for review. That was the hardest part of writing the book – actually giving it to people to read. I am now 100% certain that it is quite possibly the poorest written piece of crap that has ever existed.
Anyways — back at work today. So excited to be here.
Too many scary changes happening in the next few months — not sure how I’m going to get through it all.
