Here are a few pics of the new house. Now that we’re just over 2 weeks away from the move in (16 days ’til closing), I guess it’s close enough to done that I can share. The inspections went well, the appraisal was yesterday, the mysterious missing seller is no longer missing….we’ve gotten the loan approval and signed a lot of documents. we’ve gotten the title reports….everything is moving forward.

Those are all the pictures I have right now that are even worth sharing. So – vital stats:
3 bedrooms
2 (full) bathrooms
HUGE pantry off kitchen
Separate laundry room
Lots of bulb flowers around the perimeter
Nice living/dining/kitchen flow
Great full basement for all the building projects
All appliances stay!
Everything, down to the smoke detectors, was renovated in 2004
Really, the only downers are the fact that it’s all carpet, no hardwoods (although that’s something we can certainly change) and that there’s no garage. There is a backyard storage shed (shaped like a castle!) that will be big enough for the motorcycle, a lawn mower and maybe one or two bikes, but there are grand garage plans for the future.
So – we move in 2 1/2 weeks! I’m so very excited!
(Also, I have my plane tix for South D – so much looking forward to seeing everyone in just under 2 months.)
