All Hallow’s Read – 2013 Book Giveaway Contest

In 2010, author Neil Gaiman started a new tradition of giving away a scary book at Hallowe’en, because “…[T]here aren’t enough traditions that involve giving books.

I participated as a book-giver-awayer in 2010 and 2011 for this awesome tradition of All Hallow’s Read. Last year, I did not, due to my residence in the Pits of Despair at that point.

BUT – it’s 2013! And it’s October! And it’s time for a book give away.

In 2010, E_ and T_ each won a copy of Chuck Palahniuk’s “Haunted.”

And, in 2011, C_ and M_ each won a copy of Shirley Jackson’s “We Have Always Lived in the Castle.”

This year, I will again give away two books. To enter, leave a comment on this post telling me a little bit about your favorite scary story. You can get additional entries by retweeting with the hashtag #allhallowsread or sharing this link on Facebook. Just leave an additional comment letting me know how many entries you deserve.

Winning in previous years does not preclude you from winning again!

You have until midnight Pacific time on October 21st to enter. I will draw a name & post the winner’s (as well as the winning volume) on Tuesday, October 22.
